Using MigrationWiz saved time managing complex migrations where traditional methods fell short. “We were experiencing some technical issues with one of our customers where the normal Microsoft methodologies for migration would not have worked without dedicating a significant amount of time first repairing their existing environment,” stated McFarland. “The MigrationWiz solution was simple and easy to understand while providing a seamless transition for the customer.”
To ensure an easy transition to the new messaging platform, Anchor planned for a multi-pass migration. A multi-pass migration allows for customization of the migration process to fit the needs of the organization. Using this advanced migration technique, Anchor was able to conduct a high-fidelity migration that allowed end users to access repliable email, calendars with recurring appointments intact, and contact lists with pictures on their first day using their new messaging system.
With Microsoft Office 365, Anchor’s SMB clients are now taking advantage of enterprise- level applications that were previously expensive for smaller businesses to implement. “Microsoft Office 365 is easy to deploy, easy to maintain, and significantly lowers support costs while at the same time providing a well-rounded experience for the client,” stated McFarland.
